Just a few more weeks until the 2008 Summer Olympics begin!
I know my daughter will be watching the eventing as much as possible, while I love watching and learning from the dressage competitions. What equestrian sport are you looking forward to following? Are you a show jumping fan? Do you appreciate the intricacies of dressage (or does it make your eyes glaze over)? Or will you be following the excitement of eventing. Take the poll and leave your comments below!
Following the United States Equestrian Federation Selection Trials for Dressage this past weekend, the USEF has released the
names of the nominated entries in the 2008 Olympic Dressage competitions. Heading the list are Steffen Peters and Ravel, Debbie McDonald and Brentina, and Courtney King-Dye and Harmony’s Mythilus. Peters and King-Dye have qualified two horses, both eligible as substitute horses if required. Final official entries will be made July 15 to the
United States Olympic Committee.
